Torremolinos has changed through the years; the tourist that walks the pedestrian street really changes the aura of the place. Yet, some parts of this city have been unresponsive with changes and thus as stood still in time; those that remained untouched give one tourist the feeling of seeing another world in another dimension.

La Carihuela is one of the unresisting of change and remained the quite fishing village in this section of this Spanish city. Even for the fact, that another kind of attraction was added in Torremolinos like the Aquapark just a short distance from Palacio de Congresos that has the largest water slide in Europe; La Carihuela also gets it fair share of curios tourists.

Torremolinos is said to have embraced the tourists that has come to love the place so the place is fast-paced, festive and partying all night long. Torremolinos has not grown this big without its share of restaurants that cater to the food and tapas lovers.

Try Restaurant Nuevo Lanjaron for a more substantial meal; this restaurant is patronized by locals so expect to be served good food. The Spanish Local will only eat food that is only fit for the kings.

A visit to Torremolinos means some souvenirs to remember back your visit. so hit upon San Miguel Streets for it has lined up shopping boutiques, shops and area for buying jewelry, leather goods and Spanish porcelain. The Crocodile Park does really appeal to my taste but it does with my children, nieces and nephews; so I would also perhaps it will appeal to your kids.

Car rentals are also available in the airport if you are planning to really scout every corner of this town. Though, buses are cheaper and practical choice of traveling in the place. Train travels connect the town with neighboring destination thus a planned itinerary is very practical.

Enjoy your visit and savor the place in the much quieter hour in the morning and feel the true Torremolinos air.
