1.What can I do in Torremolinos?

Aside from swimming and sunbathing, you can engage in many water sports such as windsurfing, paragliding, and water skiing. You can also rent pedal boats. There are picnic facilities and picturesque footpaths that can take you around the city to the outlying areas. The beaches of La Carihuela and Bajondillo beaches are even linked by a promenade decorated with these beautiful European flags.

Torremolinos is also famous for its exciting nightlife. There are many restaurants and bars, where you can savor the famous Spanish tapas and the traditional Spanish wines and beers. Sleep of the hangover while catching the sun at the beach the next morning!

2.What are the other sights in the area?

If you rent a car you can explore the surrounding Costa del Sol area, including the historical mountain village of Mijas and several sites in Malaga. You can also go beach hopping and visit places like Benalmadena, Fuengirola and Marbella.

3.How do I get to Torremolinos?

The fastest way of getting there is to take a flight to Malaga Airport, which is just 10 minutes away from the resort. All European airports are connected to Malaga. From the airport you can ride the electric train. This is very convenient as the trips are just 30 minutes apart, starting from 6:13 am to 10:43 pm. You can also take the shuttle.

If you are renting a car, drive down theN-340/E-15 highway, west from Málaga or the N-340/E-15 east from Marbella.

If you are coming from Madrid, take the train from Atocha Station to Malaga, before taking another train to Torremolinos. It’s also possible to ride the bus from Estacion sur de Autobuses, which is found in the southern part of the city. A bus leaves every 15 minutes.
